Join us and help set a new standard for excellence in portfolio construction.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in performing complex quantitative analyses to support tax-managed portfolio construction & management strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Learn and apply theoretical portfolio construction concepts, including risk modeling and optimization techniques, to help develop innovative investment solutions. "Learn by doing" the relationship between risk models and portfolio optimization to design risk-aware portfolio construction and management.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare written material, presentations, and statistical analyses as needed for clients, prospects, senior management, and the media. This includes pros and cons surrounding different portfolio construction options and provides Vanguard's opinion on the subject matter based on analysis of investment research.</p> </li><li> <p>Present analysis and results internally or externally to Vanguard clients and constituents.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in group discussions designed to identify and debate investment issues and potential research projects. Develop recommendations on new research topics or methodology issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Five years of related work experience, including four years investment management experience. Experience with investment research preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Undergraduate degree in finance or economics or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
