<p>Job Title: HR CoordinatorHR Coordinator</p> <p>Exempt Status: Exempt</p> <p>Location: Cheshire, CT</p> <p>Company Description:</p> <p>Hanwha Aerospace USA has long been recognized as a leader in the development and supply of flight critical Aerospace/Defense components and assemblies. Operating out of four state-of-the-art facilities located in Connecticut, Hanwha Aerospace USA offers growth and career development opportunities to enrich your talents.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>As an HR Coordinator, you will assist with a variety of functions such as organizational development, talent and learning development, and employee relations. The individual must be adept at skills and techniques required to promote a high-performance environment and lead cultural change.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Triage Employee relations questions related to benefits and policies. </li><li>Work collaboratively with HR Business partners to prepare and compile payroll, entering new hires, processing HRIS transactions, and clearing exceptions daily. </li><li>Manage employee communication including but not limited to the creation of employee bi-weekly newsletters, posting company-wide information on the ADP Intranet portal, and ensuring delivery of critical information to mailboxes, bulletin boards, etc. </li><li>Provide administrative support to the recruitment process including scheduling interviews, managing candidate flow using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). </li><li>Assist with recruitment activities including but not limited to coordinating employee events and activities, scheduling and supporting hiring events, and Next Generation program management. </li><li>Manage employee verification process including documentation, communication with requestors, etc. </li><li>Coordinate and facilitate the New Hire Orientation program. </li><li>Provide logistical support for training events including scheduling, planning and operation of these events for local and remote locations </li><li>Assist with planning, developing/facilitating, and implementing training programs for employees. </li><li>Extensively use the Learning Management System (LMS) to build and schedule courses, classes and events, update enrollments and completions, generate reports and provide front line technical support for users </li><li>Perform other related duties or responsibilities as required </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data </li><li>Bachelor's degree and/or 10 years of practical work experience </li><li>Certification in the Human Resources field (i.e.: SHRM-CP). Preferred. </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone preferred) </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of ADP HRIS (preferred) </li></ul> <p>Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) </li><li>Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level </li><li>Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization </li><li>Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices </li><li>Must have strong attention to detail </li><li>Ability to travel domestically to other sites - 10% </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands / Work Capacity Evaluation</p> <p>The essential functions of this position may vary based on specific assignments, work locations, and operational needs.
