<p>AGRILAND FS is looking for a Business Manager to lead and coordinate key operational functions across departments, driving performance, profitability, and long-term success. This critical role partners with Directors and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment, financial oversight, and operational efficiency.</p> <p>Core Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strategic Business Planning: </li><li>Partner with senior leadership to develop long-term business strategies that support the cooperative's mission and growth objectives </li><li>Conduct SWOT analyses to evaluate factors impacting business performance. </li><li>Lead cross-functional initiatives to align sales, customer service, and operational strategies with cooperative goals. </li><li>Liaise with government agencies and legal teams, managing relevant programs and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Budget Development and Oversight:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and manage annual departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with the cooperative's strategic and financial objectives. </li><li>Work closely with Finance to support audits and profitability analysis. </li><li>Work with department heads to forecast resource needs and allocate funds effectively to support operational goals. </li><li>Support price model development and Implement cost-saving initiatives to maximize profit margins without compromising quality or service. </li></ul> <p>Sales Commissions Management:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and administer competitive sales commission structures to motivate the sales team and align with cooperative objectives. </li><li>Ensure transparency and fairness in commission calculations, providing clear communication to the sales team. </li><li>Manage and report on the Annual Sales Program, including goal tracking and progress updates. </li></ul> <p>Customer Service Team Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing customer service team to ensure exceptional customer experience. </li><li>Establish and monitor customer service KPIs, such as response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores. </li><li>Implement strategies to address customer feedback, resolve escalations promptly, and maintain strong relationships with cooperative members. </li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, empathy, and continuous improvement within the customer service team. </li></ul> <p>Data-Driven Decision Making:</p> <ul> <li>Utilize financial and operational data to track KPIs, such as sales growth, profit margins, and customer retention rates. </li><li>Generate actionable insights from data analysis to inform strategic decisions and process improvements. </li><li>Leverage CRM and financial software to streamline reporting and enhance decision-making accuracy. </li></ul> <p>What we need from you:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field </li><li>Proven experience in retail or business management, with a track record of delivering results </li><li>Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in managing budgets, compensation structures, and sales performance </li><li>Advanced financial acumen with the ability to analyze margins, pricing, and profitability </li><li>Ability to lead across departments and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems such as CRM and ERP platforms </li><li>Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills </li></ul> <p>What we offer our team:</p> <ul> <li>Solid retirement future with a 100% company-funded Pension Plan at no cost to you, plus an additional 401k with company match </li><li>Paid time off, sick pay, and paid holidays </li><li>Competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more </li><li>Opportunity to take a strategic leadership role in a dynamic, customer-focused organization </li><li>Opportunity to make an immediate impact with a strong team dedicated to success </li></ul> <p>Are you a good match to join the AGRILAND FS Team?
