By prioritizing risk mitigation alongside regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and cost-effective management, they fuel the bank's growth and success.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Default Timeline Specialist is responsible for the oversight of delinquent loans eligibility for a breach notice, referrals and oversight with counsel to handle legal matters for a bankruptcy, foreclosure or eviction action to ensure that the investor and/or insurer timelines and guidelines are adhered in conjunction with the appropriate action.</p> <p>This position monitors daily, weekly and monthly reports and responsible for updating and maintaining accurate records in the various servicing systems. The Default TimeLine Specialist is responsible for working with the Loss Mitigation department to ensure the appropriate action is performed as applicable and not being delayed unnecessarily.</p> <p>Team Culture</p> <p>Our culture is built on collaboration and partnership, where we prioritize building strong relationships. By creating streamlined solutions, mitigating risk, and increasing scalability, we support continuous operations and organizational resilience, all while aligning our goals with the business lines we support to ensure the safety of our customers and the bank.</p> <p>How You'll Spend Your Time</p> <ul> <li>You will review delinquent loans and issue demands in line with Investor/Insurer guidelines, including mandated letters and electronic registrations. </li><li>You will refer eligible loans for Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, or Eviction actions to attorneys, ensuring all submissions meet required standards. </li><li>You will monitor legal cases to ensure timely filings, accurate documentation, and system updates to reduce potential losses. </li><li>You will oversee property inspections and preservation efforts for delinquent properties, coordinating with insurance vendors as needed. </li><li>You will calculate and provide financial figures to attorneys for claims, reinstatements, payoffs, judgments, and foreclosure bids. </li><li>You will process incoming funds accurately and promptly, including refunds, bankruptcy payments, and sale proceeds. </li><li>You will ensure timely payment of invoices, taxes, and insurance within approved limits, especially before foreclosure sales. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience Requirements</p> <p>This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of Associate's Degree in a business related field and/or 3 - 4 years of related experience.</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of FHA, VA, conventional, FHLMC, FNMA and private investor guidelines regarding foreclosure guidelines </li><li>General knowledge of legal documentation and procedural steps to advance the foreclosure process </li><li>Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). </li><li>Working knowledge of CRT or PC </li><li>Ability to organize workflow and conduct tenacious follow-up. </li><li>Ability to multi-task </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively and courteously, and to gain information from individuals/customers by asking appropriate questions. </li></ul> <p>BOK Financial Corporation Group is a stable and financially strong organization that provides excellent training and development to support building the long term careers of employees.
