Thank you for being a part of the Glockner family!</p> <p>Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay/Weekly pay ($15-$30HR based on experience) </li><li>Monday through Friday 8-5 (NO WEEKENDS) </li><li>Health, dental, vision, and life insurance available, plus ancillaries </li><li>Paid vacation and 6 paid holidays </li><li>Short-term disability </li><li>401K plus Match </li><li>Our on-staff Nurse Practitioner is available 24/7 to answer your health questions and keep you in great health. </li><li>Employee discounts on parts, services, and vehicle purchases Paid training and continuing education </li></ul> <p>Key responsibilities may include:</p> <ul> <li>Thoroughly examining customer vehicles to identify potential issues and necessary maintenance services. </li><li>Utilizing diagnostic tools to accurately pinpoint the cause of vehicle problems. </li><li>Performing repairs and maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, engine tune-ups, electrical repairs, and more. </li><li>Requesting required parts from the parts department to complete repairs. </li><li>Providing accurate labor estimates to the service advisor based on diagnosed issues. </li><li>Clearly communicating repair details and necessary additional services to the service advisor. </li><li>Maintaining detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and customer information. </li><li>Adhering to manufacturer specifications and quality standards for repairs. </li><li>Participating in ongoing training to stay updated on new vehicle technology and repair procedures. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and transmission. </li><li>Proficiency in using diagnostic tools to identify vehicle problems. </li><li>Ability to perform a wide range of automotive repairs efficiently and accurately. </li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and explain repair needs. </li><li>Meticulous approach to ensure all repairs are completed correctly. </li><li>Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy parts and working in various positions. </li><li>ASE Certification is often preferred. </li></ul>
