Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Learn more about benefits at Google.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage a strong engineering team to build alerting products and effectively deliver impact by coaching, mentoring, and helping team members grow and shape the culture of the team, promoting a team that values psychological safety. </li><li>Lead the team to develop Service Level Objective (SLO) monitoring, application centric observability for alerting, for active usage within Cloud alerting, broader adoption within Google Cloud Platform internal teams, and help our customers manage their cloud environments. </li><li>Collaborate with product managers and engineering leads to define the goal, strategy, and future roadmap for the team, balancing new investments with reliability and technical debt reduction. </li><li>Design, guide and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems. </li></ul>
