<p>This position is 6:45PM to 7AM on a 2/2/3 schedule.</p> <p>Pay Range: $21.50 including a 10% shift differential! $23.65 per hour with the shift difference!</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The AZEK Company/Timbertech Wilmington division is seeking Extrusion Operators for the PVC department. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.</p> <p>Core Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Contributes to accident free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and </li></ul> <p>regulations</p> <ul> <li>Assists with set-ups, start-ups, color changes, die changes and shut downs on the equipment and or performs those functions </li></ul> <p>independently on limited production equipment</p> <ul> <li>Learns and practices starting, operating, maintaining and shutting down extrusion and down-line equipment </li><li>Monitors general adjustments to extrusion line and communicates larger proglems to skilled operators and leadership </li><li>Completes daily duties in accordance with workplace organization and efficiency methodologies </li><li>Learns, accurately completes and records quality checks, color checks, and color set-point controls within the specified </li></ul> <p>guidelines.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for detailed completion of production operator reports </li><li>Learns and demonstrates identification of defects and completion of work orders for repair </li><li>Learns and practices adherence to the Bills of Process (BOP) and Critical to Quality (CTQ) standards </li><li>Assists in packaging of product as needed </li><li>Ensures that equipment operates to specifications </li><li>Ensures proper materials are available for daily production according to production specificatons </li><li>Assists in training Production Assistants to perform the duties of their job </li><li>Ensures housekeeping duties are performed according to the required standards </li><li>Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Experience: Experience in similar role preferred</p> <p>Other Requirements: Meet qualification and certification requirements established by the company training programs.</p> <p>Demonstrated understanding of how process equipment works; Strong decision making, analytical</p> <p>skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally; Good troubleshooting and problem solving</p> <p>abilities; Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7</p> <p>manufacturing environment</p> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED, Required</p>
