<p>Job Description</p> <p>Material Handler - Litchfield, MN</p> <p>General Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to work with numbers. </li><li>Ability to work on iPad and understand technology </li><li>Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. </li><li>Complete forklift safety training and maintain certification. </li><li>Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve safe and efficient receiving, warehousing, distribution and shipping operations. </li><li>Follow time and attendance guidelines in accordance with the employee handbook. </li><li>Able to stand for long periods throughout shift. </li><li>Capable of occasionally maneuvering 500-pound barrels on a cart or on a surface with assistance. </li><li>Ability to regularly lift and / or carry up to 55 pounds individually or up to 100 pounds with assistance. </li><li>Ability to squat and bend occasionally while lifting up to 55 pounds during shift. </li><li>Capable of accurately operating equipment and various machinery safely using basic controls. </li><li>Tolerant of seasonally very warm temperatures. </li></ul> <p>Occasi 1-40% of shift Regularly = 41-60% of shift Frequently = 60-90% of shift C 90-100% of shift</p> <p>Quality Control Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of and ability to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). </li><li>Awareness of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and its importance. </li><li>Follow all Safe Quality Food (SQF) guidelines. </li><li>Report any suspicious activity related to food defense. </li></ul> <p>Note: Required to report food safety problems or concerns immediately to a person with authority to initiate action as indicated on the organizational chart.</p> <p>Safety Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Be aware of and follow up to date OSHA regulations that apply to the tasks in your job. </li><li>Be aware of your surroundings, watching for forklift traffic and trip hazards such as pallets or cords when entering the production area. </li><li>Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering the production area. </li></ul> <p>Education/Certifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent </li></ul> <p>Warehouse - Kitting Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Complete the daily forklift operator checklist prior to using the forklift during your shift. </li><li>Operate a forklift to load and unload goods in and out of the warehouse. </li><li>Ensure documentation is accurate and complete on outgoing BOL's </li><li>Ensure and inspect material matched paperwork on all incoming BOL's </li><li>Scan incoming and outgoing BOLs into internal shared files </li><li>Complete daily kit needs for production </li><li>Understanding on how to build a new kit template </li><li>Stage kits for production when needed </li><li>Return kits from production when needed </li><li>Provide control of inventory to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements and specifications. </li><li>When required, complete disposal forms. </li><li>Maintain warehouse in an organized manner. </li><li>Control the movements in the warehouse through the iPad app for traceability. </li><li>Monitor first in first out. </li><li>Ensure the floor is always free of debris. </li><li>Inform the Warehouse Lead when more pallets are needed. </li><li>Take periodic inventories and participate in the monthly inventory program. </li><li>Document and report immediately any incident that would cause the inventory status of a material or product to change. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Lead or Warehouse and Inventory Manager. </li></ul> <p>ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.</p> <p>REF:97115BR</p>
