Eagle Foods products are marketed and distributed across all U.S. retail channels, including grocery stores, club stores and mass-merchandisers, as well as foodservice and export, U.S. military, and private label business.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Review appropriate production schedules for the line to ensure correct equipment (fryer, popper, extruder, rotor, etc.) setups have been made and appropriate raw material are present for efficient productivity. </li><li>Monitor all product in process and/or finished to be packed to ensure best quality standards are being met </li><li>Make sure all materials are properly counted, weighed, and labeled with correct label information </li><li>Ensure that all partial pallets, bags, containers, etc. are available and accessible as well as having proper documentation such as part number, weights, and expiration dates. </li><li>Report to supervisor equipment malfunctions, to be reported to maintenance. </li><li>Ensure that all raw materials are correct, logged, and meet all the customer and Company specifications. </li><li>Conduct visual quality-control inspections to ensure production process efficiency and that all standards and regulations are being met. </li><li>Maintain count of items produced and document appropriately. </li><li>Read pressure gauges, temperature controllers, and other equipment. Perform preventative maintenance as needed. </li><li>Ensure adequate housekeeping throughout the day </li><li>Assist the operator with daily tasks by preparing materials, maintaining a clean and organized work area, supporting equipment setup and basic operation, and performing general labor duties to ensure efficient workflow and production. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualifications & Competencies</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures. </li><li>Experience with Food Safety Audit expectations and requirements preferred </li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods. This is essential as the job often requires heavy lifting and moving materials. </li><li>Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) is often required. </li><li>The ability to follow verbal or written instructions to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. </li></ul>
