<p>We are seeking a qualified or near qualified actuary with relevant experience to ensure AXA XL remains a leader in the field of P&C Programs Business. The successful candidate will be highly driven, able to effectively communicate across functions with technical skills to support evolving pricing and analytic needs to drive profitability What you'll be doing What will your essential responsibilities include? Help to ensure AXA XL is a leader in the field of programs due diligence and portfolio management Support delivery of core tasks such as planning, rate monitoring, new programs profitability assessment, and core pricing metrics. Engage internally with Underwriting, Reserving and Capital Modelling. Consistent external communication with AXA XL's various program partners. Help the team to stay abreast of regulatory and technological changes that affect pricing Help drive appropriate consistency in pricing and portfolio analysis across NA programs. Support underwriters within NA programs with regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis. Support Head of pricing, NA programs by working closely with the data to provide insights to share within the pricing team. Ensure compliance of pricing guidelines with the team Report out to the business on key metrics including rate change and RRL. You will report to the head of Head of Pricing, Global Programs. What you'll bring We are seeking a highly driven, credentialled actuary to ensure AXA XL remains a leader in the field Qualification level - Actuarial accreditation; ACAS or near-ACAS preferred. Required Skills and Abilities: Qualification level - Nearly or recently qualified actuary. Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Applied Math, Statistics, or related field. Significant experience in Excel. General Pricing Knowledge: General understanding of actuarial pricing on various different product lines General Reserving Knowledge: Understanding of commonly used reserving methodologies, assumption setting and techniques. Detail oriented but also need to appreciate the real-world vagaries associated with Programs business and third-party data. Outstanding verbal and written communications skills to gain buy-in to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external clients. Ability to work self-directed with minimal supervision and as part of a global team. Desired Skills and Abilities: R programming skills desired. Other coding experience is a plus. The U.S. base salary range for this position is $85,000-$149,000 USD. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience and location.
