This includes developing and implementing product strategies, conducting market research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing external relationships, achieving annual card sales goals, and ensuring product performance and compliance.</p> <p>WHAT YOU WILL DO</p> <ul> <li>Develops and implements consumer credit card product strategies and roadmaps in line with the Credit Union's overall business objectives. </li><li>Conducts market research and analysis to identify customer needs and preferences, and use insights to drive product performance, innovation and differentiation. </li><li>Collaborates with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations, as well as with external vendors, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product & portfolio management. </li><li>Stays updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure our credit card products remain competitive in the market. </li><li>Manages relationships with external partners and vendors to support product development and delivery. </li><li>Oversees the rewards program from end-to-end including acquisition offers and portfolio engagement campaigns. </li><li>Manages the balance transfer program to generate incremental balances and spend. </li><li>Owns the secured card program and secured portfolio to include monitoring for product graduation, return of secured deposits and regulatory compliance. Manages credit limit increases and decreases programs. </li><li>Supports the branch network by generating incremental branch sales and assists with upskilling retail employees in the credit card program. </li><li>Liaisons with marketing as the product owner for the Direct Mail Program; designs card offers and promotions, including A/B testing and performance monitoring to generate incremental direct mail volume. </li><li>Generates new card sales through COF's, branch relationships, identifying partnership opportunities for further business development opportunities. Supports each channel in achieving the annual card sales goals and provides inputs on forecasts based on trends and performance data. </li><li>Supports EMOB activities to engage card members for Top of Wallet, Push Provisioning and Digital Wallets and introductory offers fulfillment. </li><li>Supports research requests for Fraud/Chargebacks on cardholder accounts. </li><li>Works complex member inquiries in liaison with the card operations team on rewards, transactions, chargebacks, fraud and other inquires referred from the contact center. </li><li>Monitors portfolio reporting for opportunities to drive additional sales volume and spend/balance growth. </li><li>Supports third party vendor relationships as required, including monitoring and compliance. </li><li>Oversee the inventory management of all Consumer card materials, card plastics, card carriers, disclosures, inserts, etc., managing relationships with vendors to maintain appropriate inventory levels </li><li>Gathers documentation related to departmental audits related to Consumer Credit Card, including the annual completion of risk assessments. </li><li>Ensures monthly/quarterly reporting is completed for vendors, such as Mastercard. </li><li>Monitors EnFact Fraud Cases to identify trends, recommend fraud rules adjustments based on data and analysis for Commercial Card Portfolio </li><li>Ensures full compliance with department procedures and Government agencies, adhering to all Regulatory and compliance requirements </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned by the VP, Credit Card Portfolio Manager. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Education</p> <p>This position requires a High School diploma or GED. A bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred.</p> <p>Experience/Skills/Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 5 years previous experience in the credit card industry required, preferably at a financial institution. </li><li>Must have a demonstrated understanding of retail banking and credit card products with a proven track record of developing and managing successful products. </li><li>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, telephone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills. </li><li>Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills required. </li><li>Must possess strong service orientation skills in alignment with the credit union's mission and core values. </li><li>Must have the ability to conduct presentations and training programs. </li><li>Must have the ability to handle multiple projects/priorities simultaneously with an effective outcome. </li><li>The ability to deal with highly confidential information is required. </li><li>Must be PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the Internet. </li><li>Ability to function in a commercial office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: fax, copier, telephone, etc. Some travel required. Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs. e.g. file boxes </li></ul>
