Ranked 35 among national universities, Boston College has 888 full-time and 1,281 FTE faculty, 2,711 non-faculty employees, an operating budget of $1.4 billion, and an endowment in excess of $3.5 billion.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <p>Reporting to the Director of Boston College's Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies (IAJS), the Editor, Digital Scholarship promotes and facilitates collegiality between the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies (IAJS) and the global network of Jesuit Studies scholars, through the advancement of the historical study of the Society of Jesus and their educational and spiritual mission. Oversee all Digital Projects within the IAJS, including the Jesuit Online Bibliography, Jesuit Online Library, Jesuit Historiography Online, the Digital Indipetae Project, the Portal to Jesuit Studies, the Jesuit Necrology Database, the Jesuit Catalogues Database, the Proceedings for the International Symposia on Jesuit Studies, the Online Chronicon, and any other forthcoming digital projects, including mobile phone applications. Serve as the liaison to the University Library, external digital vendors, and other Boston College departments as they relate to IAJS digital and, on occasion, some print projects.
