By focusing on continual improvement, our services remain at the forefront of our industry, and we pride ourselves on delivering our services with the highest degree of integrity.</p> <p>SierTeK Ltd. is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to support an opportunity at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <p>Instructional Design & Multimedia Development</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with SMEs, Project Managers, and production teams to create educational media and multimedia products. </li><li>Recommend appropriate instructional platforms, tools, and delivery methods. </li><li>Design and develop training materials (e.g., copy, scripts, instructional text, etc.). </li><li>Utilize government-provided software tools as directed. </li></ul> <p>Courseware & Curriculum Management</p> <ul> <li>Add, manage, and test online courseware; analyze data and recommend improvements. </li><li>Create training plans and validate new courses for effectiveness and proficiency. </li><li>Apply full ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) in all instructional design tasks. </li><li>Participate in educational support activities, such as continuity planning and curriculum guidance. </li></ul> <p>Project Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Receive and clarify project requests, coordinate scope, storyboard content, and secure approvals. </li><li>Consult and validate educational content throughout multimedia project phases. </li><li>Analyze student feedback (course evaluations and field surveys) to improve courseware. </li><li>Attend meetings and perform other tasks as requested by the Technical Advisor or Course Director. </li></ul> <p>Administrative & Editorial Duties</p> <ul> <li>Correct grammar, formatting, and maintain curriculum documentation. </li><li>Support meetings, training, and general educational activities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education/Experience:</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or related field; or</p> </li><li> <p>Five (5) years of applied ISD experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Expertise in at least two of the following:</p> </li><li> <p>Learning theory or educational psychology</p> </li><li> <p>Instructional design practices</p> </li><li> <p>Educational assessment (e.g., test/survey development, reliability/validity)</p> </li><li> <p>Instructional product creation</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Proficiency:</p> </li><li> <p>Adobe Captivate, SCORM packaging, gaming, VR, 3D modeling, simulation</p> </li><li> <p>Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, MS Teams, Zoom</p> </li><li> <p>Skills & Abilities:</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and interpersonal skills</p> </li><li> <p>Independent work capability</p> </li><li> <p>Critical thinking, problem-solving, excellent communication (written and verbal)</p> </li><li> <p>Compliance Requirement:</p> </li><li> <p>Must have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on file with the employer, submitted to the Program Manager.</p> </li></ul> <p>Highly Desired Qualification</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Educational Design, or related field. </li></ul> <p>SierTeK is an equal opportunity employer.
