You'll form genuine connections with residents, work alongside a supportive team, and live our Extraordinary Impressions Values every day.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs professional nursing services which include resident assessments, recording vital signs, administering medications, enemas, catheterization, sterile techniques dressing, set-up and administration of oxygen, physical and emotional caring techniques. </li><li>Responsible for the assessment of health and mental status for each resident during the shift by making rounds in accordance with facility standards, and timely and accurate reporting of changes in condition to all concerned parties. </li><li>Responsible for the timely documentation of nursing care, administration of medications, incident reports, physician orders, and all other aspects of care in the Health Center in accordance with facility and regulatory standards. </li><li>Responds in a swift manner to facility, resident, or staff emergencies. </li><li>Documents written report and provides verbal report on any/all unusual or abnormal observations, emergency care, resident needs, family concerns, change in physician orders, narcotic records, follow-up care, resident care plan revisions, and any/all changes related to ensuring that quality resident care is provided. </li><li>Communicates with residents, family, friends, pharmacy and others as necessary on resident needs and concerns in a professional manner. </li><li>Responds with both verbal and physical communication in an endeavor to meet all emotional, social, and spiritual needs of residents, families, and staff members. </li><li>Assigns nursing personnel to specific jobs and spot checks work to ensure standards are met. </li><li>Follows and abides by any/all community policies, procedures, local, and state regulations. </li><li>Attends in-service training and educational seminars as needed to maintain professional license and keep abreast of current nursing practices. </li></ul> <p>What Success Looks Like:</p> <ul> <li>A passion for providing high-quality care </li><li>A commitment to treating others with unmatched hospitality </li><li>The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment </li><li>LPN from accredited or state approved school of nursing preferred. </li><li>Valid Indiana LPN License </li></ul> <p>Benefits for Full-Time Include:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) </li><li>Company-paid life insurance & short-term disability </li><li>Long-term disability coverage </li><li>Paid holidays & paid birthday off </li><li>403(b) retirement plan with company match </li><li>Tuition reimbursement </li><li>Career advancement opportunities </li></ul> <p>Greenwood Village South is an equal opportunity employer.
