Frontier Airlines is the proud recipient of the Federal Aviation Administration's 2018 Diamond Award for maintenance excellence and was recently named the industry's most fuel-efficient airline by The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) as a result of superior technology and operational efficiencies.</p> <p>What Will You Be Doing?</p> <p>The Sr. Manager, Growth & Airport Strategy owns the strategic planning, prioritization, and delivery of Frontier's airport growth, real estate, and infrastructure investment portfolio. The role directly manages a multi-airport portfolio, guides capital allocation decisions, and drives cross-functional alignment across Network Planning, Finance, Operations, Government Affairs, Facilities, and Airport Affairs.</p> <p>The Manager is responsible for delivering measurable growth outcomes, assigned by station annually in partnership with internal stakeholder groups, including capacity expansion, cost optimization, and long-term real estate positioning. The role requires enterprise-level judgement, independent decision-making, and end-to-end accountability for growth success, risk mitigation, and station financial performance.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Lead, architect, and govern cross-functional growth, cost-reduction, and capacity expansion strategies with direct impact on airport P&L and enterprise growth targets </li><li>Serve as Frontier's senior liaison with airport authorities, commercial partners, and government stakeholders, negotiating real estate, facilities access, and long-term growth positioning </li><li>Consult and coordinate with internal stakeholders to streamline decision-making and maximize impact </li><li>Co-own financial modeling, investment evaluation, and capital allocation decisions in partnership with FP&A to ensure returns meet Frontier's cost and growth thresholds </li><li>Partner with the Facilities team to drive high-impact airport infrastructure and facilities programs, ensuring alignment with Frontier's goals and operational priorities </li><li>Enhance communication systems to improve structured reporting to leadership and internal stakeholders for ongoing initiatives </li><li>Own the development of airport growth targets, portfolio prioritization, financial evaluations, and scenario analyses, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic growth plans </li><li>Lead executive-level presentations, providing updates on program status, risks, and ROI to senior leadership. </li><li>Drive multi-year portfolio planning, integrating capacity, cost, regulatory, and operational considerations </li><li>Lead negotiations related to airport use, facilities expansion, commercial terms, and long-term real estate positioning </li><li>Establish and manage governance processes for airport development initiatives, ensuring executive visibility and alignment </li><li>Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to analysts and cross-functional contributors </li><li>Think like a COO. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Finance, or relevant field of study. </li><li>Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, aviation/airport strategy, infrastructure delivery, consulting, or capital program management. </li><li>Experience in transportation, airline, or aviation-related field preferred. </li><li>Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments </li><li>Preference to candidates with experience negotiating commercial, real estate, and airport agreements </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership </li><li>Ability to lead through ambiguity and make independent, data-driven decisions with enterprise impact. </li><li>Expertise in structuring complex, multi-year business cases and negotiating agreements </li><li>Proven track record of strong decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in developing and fostering internal and external relationships. </li><li>Strong leadership presence with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with focus on results. </li><li>Experience in creating and delivering effective presentations. </li><li>Solid understanding and performance of financial analysis. </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools is preferred. </li><li>Ability to travel on company-supported initiatives up to 40% of the time. </li></ul> <p>Equipment Operated</p> <p>Standard office equipment, including PC, copier, fax machine, printer</p> <p>Work Environment / Remote Work Options</p> <ul> <li>This role can be based at our headquarters in Denver, CO or anywhere in the United States via a remote work arrangement (periodic travel to Denver from a Frontier-serviced city required) </li><li>If remote, you must be able to follow our remote work policies, including ability and comfort level working from home with access to a high-speed internet connection </li><li>If headquarters-based, typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled </li></ul> <p>Physical Effort</p> <p>Generally, not required.</p> <p>Supervision Received</p> <p>Considerable Latitude: The incumbent establishes methods and procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives, and receives guidance in terms of broad goals.
