We are currently looking for a Branch Manager in our Denver, CO Branch to drive profitable sales growth and help us establish market dominance through ensuring consistent execution and providing excellent customer service.</p> <p>This is a hands-on role, requiring well rounded leadership skills and an ability to effectively manage sales, logistics and service. We offer a fun and friendly business environment, competitive wages, performance incentives, health benefits, vacation, sick leave and 401K.</p> <p>General Job Duties / Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of a warehousing and distribution business including Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse Operations, Shipping and Receiving and Inventory Management </li><li>Provide leadership, oversight and escalation management for all functions while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and profitability </li><li>Establish a team culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer orientation </li><li>Hire, coach and develop, and manage a team of 10 to 15 employees, with a focus on maximum employee engagement </li><li>Maintain the personal ability to execute the key functions associated with every role in the building </li><li>Develop and implement strategies to grow sales both within existing customer base and through new customer acquisition, in partnership with the Territory Sales Manager </li><li>Ensure efficient ongoing warehouse operations with a focus on inventory accuracy and on-time, on budget customer delivery </li><li>Become proficient in all technologies required to operate the business </li><li>Keep up to date with industry and local market trends, capitalizing on opportunities with new and existing products that will benefit our customers while driving sales </li><li>Maintain expert level product knowledge in order to market, sell and fulfill our entire line of products effectively </li><li>Complete special projects as needed </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of site or business unit level management experience required; distribution experience strongly preferred </li><li>3+ years of responsibility for sales or P&L performance </li><li>College degree preferred but not required </li><li>Experience in construction, building materials or parts sales a plus </li><li>Experience leveraging performance related data to make business decisions </li><li>Outgoing relationship builder who quickly and easily connects with people </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; become proficient in ERP and fulfillment software </li><li>Strong work ethic with a desire to leave things better than you found them </li><li>Solution oriented with a positive, can-do attitude </li></ul> <p>To learn more about our company please visit us at: https://westlanddistributing.com/</p> <p>We're an equal opportunity employer.
