<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Special Education Teacher - District Connections Program at Linden Street School</p> <p>Successful candidates require strong skills to develop and implement effective and engaging academic and functional skill instruction for students with significant social/emotional/behavioral challenges in a self-contained setting. Experience for collaboration with school staff, parents and community-based service providers as well as expertise in diagnostic assessment and data analysis for all areas of academic and functional performance.</p> <p>Primary responsibilities include differentiated and modified instruction in a multi-grade self-contained classroom, behavior management, diagnostic assessments and planning, and IEP development and implementation with detailed data collection as part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as coordination and management of paraeducators and behavior technicians as needed to meet student needs.</p> <p>Application Procedure: Submit an online application, an attached cover letter, a resume, 3 letters of recommendation, transcripts, and certification.
