With an experienced growing team and state-of the-art greenhouses, Revol Greens is paving the way to a more sustainable future.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Summary of Position:</p> <p>The FS Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean facility that adheres to food safety rules and regulations.</p> <p>Essential Functions & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Daily cleaning of office, breakrooms, and washrooms </li><li>Fill in wherever the packhouse or greenhouse needs extra sanitation </li><li>Maintain janitorial inventory and reduce usage of disposable items where possible </li><li>Know and apply all Food Safety and Sanitation standards as set-out by the compliance team including proper use of cleaning chemicals, SSOPs and equipment maintenance </li><li>Responsible for making sure that all equipment is cleaned and sanitized at the end of the shift </li><li>Dismantles and reassembles production equipment for cleaning </li><li>Uses chemicals according to company guidelines and safe practices </li><li>Washing bins, trash cans, containers, and other items for greenhouse and packhouse </li><li>Use of special protective equipment, such as glasses, gloves, and uniforms </li><li>Operation of hand and foot controls or repetitive hand and foot movement </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lift, push, pull, pick, or carry overhead a minimum of 25 lbs. </li><li>Bend, stoop, twist, walk, grasp, push and pull repeatedly 90 % of the time </li><li>Knowledge of FS rules and regulations </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>1 year of sanitation or janitorial experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Supervisory:</p> <ul> <li>This position has no supervisory responsibility </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Greenhouse, 50%</p> <ul> <li>The temperatures in the greenhouse very depending on the weather outside </li><li>Climate can range from hot and humid to cold depending on the location and time of year </li><li>PPE must be worn at all times </li></ul> <p>Packhouse, 50%</p> <ul> <li>The temperatures in the packhouse are between 34-38° F to preserve product quality </li><li>PPE must be worn at all times </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like. </li><li>Occasionally moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. </li><li>Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. </li><li>Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. </li><li>Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions. </li><li>Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Shift Differential Pay </li><li>PTO & Holiday Pay </li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Company paid Life Insurance Policy </li><li>STD & LTD </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>401k plan with 4% company-match after 6 months of employment </li></ul>
