<p>The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking candidates with a passion for public service to fill three Collections Supervisor positions in our Collections Enforcement Section. These positions will work a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarter location is our Columbus, Ohio office.</p> <p>The successful candidates will perform the following supervisory duties while fostering a team environment, which include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises and trains assigned staff. </li><li>Conducts staff meetings. </li><li>Performs monthly phone monitoring and reviews. </li><li>Assists team members with difficult callers and/or accounts. </li><li>Monitors team workflow and assists in work distribution. </li><li>Establishes work procedures and employee performance goals. </li><li>Evaluates record keeping policies and procedures and makes recommendations for improvements. </li><li>Prepares records and reports. </li><li>Works with Information Technology Services (ITS) to troubleshoot issues with business tools. </li><li>Handles sensitive contact with the public. </li><li>Handles varied public relations duties. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Completion of Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or related area or equivalent work experience;</p> <p>Previous supervisory or Team Lead experience;</p> <p>Proficient with Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, Word and PowerPoint).</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Previous experience in a call center environment;</p> <p>Previous experience with reporting;</p> <p>Previous experience in a collections or legal environment.</p> <p>Job skills: customer service, attention to detail, leading others, teamwork, verbal communication, and written communication</p>
