<p>JobID: 20225901</p> <p>Category: Center</p> <p>JobSchedule:</p> <p>Posted Date: 2026-04-07T17:36:28+00:00</p> <p>JobShift: All Shifts</p> <p>Location Type: Skilled</p> <p>Balance Life & Work with a New Career Opportunity</p> <p>(LONG TERM CARE)</p> <p>(SHORT TERM REHAB)</p> <p>(SKILLED NURSING)</p> <p>Now Hiring - Therapeutic Assistant - Lowell, MA</p> <p>Salary Range: $18.00-$24.00/Hr based on Years of Experience</p> <p>CareOne at Lowell</p> <p>The Therapeutic Assistant will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Provide resident supervision, including special staffing, lobby, smoking, patio, and dining room. </li><li>Monitor attendance at assigned activities and maximize participation through appropriate motivational techniques. </li><li>Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures, as instructed. </li><li>Supervise residents in performance of activities of adult daily living, such as daily dental mouth care, bathing, hair care, and nail care. </li><li>Visually and audibly observe and report on resident's physical and psychiatric conditions, reporting significant changes to the Nurse Manager and Therapeutic Supervisor. </li><li>Assist resident with the shaping of new behaviors by providing timely feedback. </li><li>Encourage interaction and socialization with staff and peers, while acting as a role model. </li><li>Participate in the development of a plan of care for each resident. </li><li>Implement individualized behavioral goals outlined in Care Plan. </li><li>Assist in the development of individualized behavioral protocols. </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of crisis management techniques through training and certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention). </li><li>Respond to behavioral codes, providing early intervention and de-escalation of situation. </li><li>Participate in in-service education, as provided by facility. </li><li>Accompany residents to community appointments, assuring safety at all times. </li><li>Transport residents in facility vehicles, as directed. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health or related field, preferred </li><li>1+ year of direct health care experience </li><li>Current CNA license, a plus </li><li>Valid Driver's license </li></ul>
