Join this dynamic team and help drive a cleaner, greener future!</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>As a Tank Farm Operator, you'll be at the heart of our operations - safely moving and handling materials that help support our environmental mission.</p> <p>This position will be working on the first shift, Monday-Friday from 7AM-3:30PM.</p> <p>Key Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Load and unload tankers, tanks, trucks, and railcars. </li><li>Ensure tank/tanker movements are followed per daily plan. </li><li>Take samples of drums for compatibility tests. </li><li>Track drums that have been processed. </li><li>Keep the area clean and organized. </li><li>Operate and assist with maintaining pumps, valves, storage equipment, and associated equipment. </li><li>Inspect treatment and storage equipment, any gauges, dials, recorders, etc. as required for proper operation and maintenance in the facility. </li><li>Assist with area compliance activities such as LDAR, VOC emissions, maintain secondary containment, etc. </li><li>Operate the area in compliance with the RCRA Permit. </li><li>Assist in performing daily inspections. </li><li>Uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by ensuring all operations adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. </li><li>Performs other operations and maintenance tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent experience </li><li>One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable </li><li>Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus </li><li>One year Tank Farm experience is a plus </li><li>Forklift operations experience </li><li>Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required </li><li>Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for </li><li>Ability to work on-site as described in the job description </li><li>Ability to read, write, and understand English </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Walking </li><li>Standing </li><li>Crawling </li><li>Kneeling </li><li>Lifting </li><li>Reaching </li><li>Pushing </li><li>Pulling </li></ul> <p>Why Tradebe is Right for You</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay and benefits </li><li>Student loan repayment assistance </li><li>Generous vacation and sick plans </li><li>Medical (including telehealth), dental and vision </li><li>401k Retirement match </li><li>Flexible spending accounts (FSA) </li><li>Health savings accounts (HSA) </li><li>Agency paid, basic life and AD&D insurance </li><li>Career ladders, professional development, and promotion opportunities </li><li>Leadership opportunities </li><li>Great work environment and culture </li><li>And MORE! </li></ul> <p>Ready to make a difference?
