You will be part of a team that genuinely cares about helping you succeed, and you will work alongside talented colleagues, while making a difference in our communities.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Corporate Sustainability Analyst reports directly to the Vice President of Construction & Maintenance and is responsible for performing a broad range of analytical support on ESG related topics and makes recommendations to the Impact Committee and the organization overall.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct research on a variety of ESG topics within HGG's physical footprint and overall operations, including regulations, energy costs, and other macro topics; </li><li>Applying ESG research to property, company, and sector-level valuation frameworks and risk analysis; </li><li>Preparing and maintaining detailed financial models/valuation, projections, and databases; </li><li>Applying sound understanding and use of finance and valuation techniques; </li><li>Supporting a VP of Construction & Maintenance in preparing and publishing a wide range of research reports; </li><li>Conducting research to identify patterns in energy use and costs over time to recommend energy conservation measures; </li><li>Analyzing environmental data to identify trends and predict future events to take preventative action; </li><li>Becoming a proactive written and verbal communicator on current and continuous data points and research; </li><li>Continuous tracking and reporting on any and all KPI's for both ESG reporting and Impact requirements; </li><li>Demonstrating resourcefulness by seeking out new and creative sources of information; </li><li>Developing knowledge of ESG in CRE and Green Street's overall research framework; </li><li>Perform other projects and or duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and/or continuing education/certification; </li><li>2-5years' experience in a related position; or an acceptable combination of education and experience; </li><li>Maintains a high level of integrity, the ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, and has excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work and perform several tasks concurrently, independently, and with ease and professionalism; </li><li>Technologically savvy with the ability to learn new applications and online services; </li><li>Ability to maintain database, extract, query and prepare reports; </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. Preferred bilingual in Spanish and English; </li><li>Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and other Office 365 applications. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:</p> <p>The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
