<p>OTR CDL Class A Truck Driver</p> <p>We are seeking a reliable and experienced OTR CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves long-haul driving across state lines in the western region, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and a commitment to safety and customer service.</p> <p>Apply at: http://www.nicholasandco.com/join-our-team</p> <p>Pay: Based on experience</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. </li><li>Report any incidents or mechanical issues promptly. </li><li>Secure cargo for transport and ensure proper handling. </li><li>Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies. </li><li>Conduct pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicles. </li><li>Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service records. </li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members. </li><li>Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods over long distances. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Class A CDL. </li><li>At least 1 year of OTR driving experience is preferred. </li><li>Clean driving record (MVR). </li><li>Ability to operate GPS and electronic logging devices (ELDS). </li><li>Ability to have strong time management and organizational skills. </li><li>Working knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures. </li><li>Exposure to various weather conditions. </li><li>Extended periods of driving and time away from home. </li><li>Physical demands include loading/unloading cargo and long hours of sitting. </li></ul> <p>About us</p> <p>Since 1939, our family has delivered quality and integrity-in our business, our products, and our relationships.
