<p>SummaryKeeps office building and/or work area in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.</p> <ul> <li>Other duties may be assigned. </li><li>Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space. </li><li>Empties trash and garbage containers. </li><li>Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. </li><li>Stocks snack and soda machines. </li><li>Performs limited grounds maintenance. </li><li>Replaces air conditioner filters. </li><li>Assists in sanitation control and checks safety hazards. </li><li>Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <p>This job has no supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>Competencies</p> <p>To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies :</p> <ul> <li>Quality - Monitors own work to ensure quality. </li><li>Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly. </li><li>Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. </li><li>Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time. </li><li>Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
