<p>Nature of Work</p> <p>This position will be responsible for the receiving, storing, and dispersing of supplies, materials, parts and equipment into a computerized inventory system. Will conduct and reconcile physical and documented inventories. Responsible for monitoring the volume of equipment and supplies to ensure adequate stock is on hand. Will work with the Division's management staff to determine what items should be inventoried. Will be required to operate a fork lift truck and provide proper qualifications to operate a fork lift truck. Must have a valid driver's license. Will prepare weekly and monthly reports for supervisor. State purchasing card experience is ideal. Other work duties as required. Failing to cooperate with this process, providing false and incomplete information, or discovery of disqualifying information will result in denial of or dismissal from employment or denial of transfer irrespective when discovered.</p> <p>Examples of Work</p> <ul> <li>Pulls inventory items and disperses or ships items. </li><li>Unloads inventory shipments and stores items in an organized manner. </li><li>Records details of items received and/or dispersed. </li><li>Orders items according to agency purchasing thresholds; receives and verifies physical items received against packing slip; checks items for damages; checks pricing and amount received; stocks items. </li><li>Files, updates, and retrieves invoices, receipts, purchase orders, transfers, and other information; maintains logs. </li><li>Performs general maintenance of equipment such as fluid level checks as needed. </li><li>Orders goods from agency and statewide contract; uses P-Card to pay for items. </li><li>Reconciles invoices and monthly P-Card bills. </li><li>Monitors volume of items to ensure adequate stock is on-hand. </li><li>Reconciles and documents inventory(ies); assigns inventory numbers as required; inspects inventory, rotates stock. </li><li>Stocks and disperses inventory items. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of storeroom methods and procedures. </li><li>Knowledge of transportation and shipping methods and procedures. </li><li>Knowledge of safe handling procedures for equipment and materials involved. </li><li>Knowledge of the various types and grades of commodities and sources of supply. </li><li>Ability to compare materials and supplies with prescribed specifications. </li><li>Ability to understand and follow instructions. </li><li>Ability to safely perform moderately heavy manual labor in lifting and storing materials and/or equipment. </li><li>Ability to operate a forklift may be required for some positions. </li></ul> <p>Click The APPLY Link To Apply Online.</p> <p>IMPORTANT:Your eligibility will be based on information provided in your resume or application; therefore, make sure your resume or application is detailed and complete.
