<p>Position Summary</p> <p>In this position, you'll convert incoming mail into electronic workflow for other processing areas within the DMV. You will be on a team that helps open, prepare, and scan over 8 million pages per year using mail opening and scanning hardware. Additional document management software tasks include electronically verifying scanned images, check reconciliation, and product fulfillment.</p> <p>This work is fast-paced and completed in a team environment with a variety of daily tasks that include:</p> <ul> <li>Repeated bending and lifting </li><li>Standing or walking for long periods of time </li><li>Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds </li><li>Periods of sitting in front of a personal computer screen verifying or entering data </li></ul> <p>This position may require occasional evening and/or weekend hours.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>This position is in schedule-range (02-11) with a starting pay rate of $22.31/hr, with a $1.40/hr. increase after one year of satisfactory performance. Saturday hours may occasionally be required. An additional $0.80/hr will be awarded for all Saturday hours. A twelve month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>This state agency does not sponsor work visas. This state agency is not enrolled in USCIS E-Verify and is not eligible to employ international F-1 students seeking STEM-OPT extension. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.</p> <p>Prior to any appointments for position(s) filled from this announcement, candidates may be subject to a comprehensive criminal background check which may include FBI fingerprinting.</p> <p>This position requires the abilities to repeatedly bend and lift, stand or walk for long periods of time, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.</p> <p>This recruitment may be used to fill similar vacancies for the next 3 to 6 months.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualified applicants will have all the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience providing customer service. </li><li>Experience researching and resolving customer issues or concerns. </li><li>Experience using computer programs such as word processing software, document management systems, or financial systems to enter data and/or verify information. </li></ul> <p>In addition to having all the above, well-qualified applicants will have one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a high volume and/or fast-paced customer service environment. </li><li>Experience following policies, rules, or other complex information. </li><li>Experience performing work that requires multitasking. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Apply online!
