Together with DocGo's integrated Ambulnz medical transport services, DocGo is bridging the gap between physical and virtual care.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Call Management: Handle a high volume of incoming calls, prioritize, and dispatch calls using the CAD system</p> </li><li> <p>Resource Coordination: Determine the appropriate level of care and coordinate transport activities with field EMTs. Coordinate daily operations of the EMS Zone assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Customer Service: Provide courteous, professional service to medical facilities, the public, and fellow EMS staff</p> </li><li> <p>Trip Assignment: Assign trips to the appropriate resources based on need and availability</p> </li><li> <p>Billing Support: Collect patient billing information and ensure accurate documentation of prebilling activities</p> </li><li> <p>Training & Mentorship: Mentor new hires and provide guidance to staff in the absence of a supervisor or manager</p> </li><li> <p>Team Support: Act as a resource for colleagues and assist with operational needs</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees compliant Call Taking, Dispatch and Pre-Billing functions for the assigned shifts</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as required/assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>NIMS IS 100, 200, 700, 800 </li><li>Minimum 2 years of EMS dispatch experience. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills </li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively </li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>2-3 years of transportation dispatch experience (EMS dispatch preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Strong geographical knowledge of service areas</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in typing (40-45 WPM) and data entry</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software</p> </li></ul> <p>EEO/AAP Statement: DocGo is an equal opportunity employer.
