<p>Employment Opportunity</p> <p>Butler County Educational Service Center</p> <p>April 1, 2026</p> <p>POSITION: Family Support Specialist</p> <p>STARTING DATE: As soon as possible</p> <p>SALARY: $20.00 - $26.50 per hour based on education and experience</p> <p>WORK YEAR: Full Time - 194 Days</p> <p>DEADLINE: Until Filled</p> <p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>The Family Support Specialist will recruit and enroll children in accordance with the Ohio Department of Education Pre-School regulations, BCESC policies and procedures; serve as a liaison between parents and staff; assess and ensure that comprehensive services are provided for all children on caseload and to link families with the appropriate community social service/health service agency for direct services.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred in social services, sociology, psychology, or relatedfield. </li><li>Two years relevant work experience in family/social services. </li><li>Knowledge of community resources and health and human system operations. </li><li>Valid Ohio driver's license with good driving record and daily access to privateinsured vehicle during working hours. </li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, and team building skills. </li><li>Computer expertise appropriate to the position. </li><li>History of good job attendance. </li><li>Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable diseases. </li></ul> <p>The Butler County Educational Service Center is an equal opportunity employer.
