On jobsites across America and the world, ProDriven brands are most preferred.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Purpose of the Job:</p> <ul> <li>Provide leadership, development and supervision to employees performing functions related to the Maintenance Department </li><li>Manage department to ensure compliance with Operational Excellence Plan and OSHA requirements </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Key Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions): This self-motivated individual will provide support for, but not limited to, the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Work with Manager to ensure that performance is in compliance with the Operational Excellence Plan for the Maintenance Department </li><li>Assist with New Technology and New Equipment implementation as needed to support the growth and development of the Maintenance Department and organization </li><li>Drive and monitor PM programs to ensure successful completion and proper execution </li><li>Work closely with the Supervisors, Managers, and the Engineering team to accomplish key Operational goals </li><li>Track and drive department KPI's to meet plant expectations </li><li>Assist with the new hire training of associates on fundamentals of the maintenance operation </li><li>Evaluate technician performance within the department and provide technical training to further develop resources </li><li>Oversee parts room process and personnel </li><li>Cross train employees to build skill development and Operational Excellence </li><li>Be a servant leader in order to enforce positive teamwork with associates </li><li>Manage projects with understandable and executable time lines </li><li>Drive organizational culture and change </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Experience & Education:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of implementing and/or trouble shooting equipment and tooling utilizing engineering skills </li><li>Proven ability to develop solutions while meeting established goals and solutions including budgetary requirements </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>4 year college degree preferred, BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering </li><li>Directly related industry experience </li><li>Experience with continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>Computer Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Intermediate level experience with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook </li></ul> <p>Key Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Strong working knowledge of a wide variety of equipment including; Amada, Salvagnini, Trumph. </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot equipment with OEM suppliers over the phone and order repair parts as required </li><li>Advanced knowledge of PLC, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics & welding </li><li>Knowledge of Fabrication, Accurpress and Powder paint processes </li><li>Proven experience in Preventative Maintenance Program (PM Program), Capital Projects, Root cause analysis, 5S and Change Management initiatives </li><li>Must be able to follow and trouble shoot electrical schematics and familiar with reading general blueprints </li><li>Must be familiar with and able to operate and troubleshoot PC, CNC and PLC operated equipment. Participate when necessary in company required </li><li>Work as a TEAM in a Proactive and Constructive manner </li><li>Safety First mentality and approach </li><li>Expect and drive world class Safety, Quality, Culture and cleanliness with the maintenance team and plant </li></ul> <p>Special Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, far and near activity, depth perception, visual accommodation </li><li>Able to lift up 50lbs </li><li>Inside conditions, noise, and hazards </li></ul> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>$78,000 - $107,250</p> <p>The pay range listed is for Illinois based roles. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range.
