<p>Job Title: Analytical Chemist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Join our team as an Analytical Chemist, where you will perform routine analytical chemical testing on a variety of samples, including raw materials, in-process batches, finished goods, water samples, and more. You will also conduct specialized analytical testing to support development projects and troubleshoot methods.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct routine analytical chemical testing on products submitted to the lab, including raw material, in-process batches, finished goods, water samples, and more. </li><li>Perform specialized analytical testing as directed, supporting development projects, new products, method troubleshooting, or Out of Specification investigations. </li><li>Properly document all results according to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions and review the work of other laboratory personnel. </li><li>Learn and practice all aspects of laboratory instrumentation, including gas chromatography (GC), High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), UV/Visible Spectrophotometry, and FTIR. </li><li>Conduct analytical work in support of cleaning validations and engineering trials. </li><li>Compile and summarize data when required. </li><li>Perform general housekeeping and glassware cleaning. </li><li>Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, suppliers, and customers. </li><li>Perform other assignments as requested by the Lab Manager. </li><li>Maintain and promote strong work ethics and uphold all company policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in HPLC and GC techniques. </li><li>Strong analytical chemistry skills. </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>BS Degree in Chemistry or any Laboratory Sciences Degree. </li><li>1+ years of experience in a GMP lab is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is based in an OTC Manufacturing Analytical Chemistry Laboratory. The role requires working on the 3rd shift, from Monday to Friday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Candidates must have the ability to work extra hours, including some limited weekend work, when necessary to handle spikes in workload and meet deadlines. The company has a strong culture of internal promotions and has never had a formal lay-off.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $47000.00 - $52000.00/yr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
