As we continue to grow our impact in the community, and our mission of helping save 1 million lives, we are seeking a driven Business Development Officer to expand our network of referral partnerships.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Business Development Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other potential referral sources to increase client admissions. This role requires a strategic approach to outreach, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for helping those affected by addiction find the treatment they need.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Identify and cultivate relationships with potential referral partners including healthcare professionals, therapists, hospitals, employee assistance programs, and community organizations </li><li>Represent the treatment center at community events, conferences, and networking opportunities </li><li>Develop and implement strategic plans to increase referrals and admissions </li><li>Conduct presentations and facility tours for potential referral sources </li><li>Coordinate with clinical and admissions teams to ensure smooth referral processes </li><li>Track relationship development activities and outcomes using CRM software </li><li>Maintain detailed knowledge of treatment programs, insurance acceptance, and admission criteria </li><li>Organize and host educational events for referral partners and the community </li><li>Collaborate with marketing team on outreach materials and strategies </li><li>Prepare regular reports on outreach activities and referral metrics </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, or related field </li><li>3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health settings </li><li>Knowledge of addiction treatment, recovery principles, and behavioral healthcare landscape </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills </li><li>Strong networking abilities and professional relationship-building experience </li><li>Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite </li><li>Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally/regionally (approximately 50% of time) </li><li>Ability to work some evenings and weekends </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in substance abuse treatment or mental health services </li><li>Existing relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations in the region </li><li>Experience with healthcare marketing and HIPAA compliance </li></ul> <p>Personal Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Compassionate understanding of addiction and recovery </li><li>Professional demeanor and exceptional interpersonal skills </li><li>Self-motivated with ability to work independently </li><li>Strong ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality </li><li>Resilient and adaptable approach to challenges </li><li>Passion for the mission of helping individuals recover from addiction </li></ul> <p>We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary based on experience </li><li>Commission/bonus structure based on referral outcomes </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>401(k) retirement plan with employer match </li><li>Professional development opportunities </li><li>Work-life balance with flexible scheduling options </li><li>Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in addressing the addiction crisis </li></ul>
