Are you ready to go beyond?</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <p>The Aero Thermal Fluids (ATF) organization is responsible for the functional aerodynamic design, analysis and performance of Pratt & Whitney commercial and military product lines.</p> <p>Aero Propulsion Systems (APS) organization is a part of ATF, consisting of Exhaust Systems (Augmentor and Nozzle), Acoustics & Aeromechanics, and Nacelle groups.</p> <p>APS is seeking a candidate with advanced technical skills and proficiency in the development and application of high-fidelity modeling (Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD) of complex aerodynamic systems, flow fields, fluid/structure interaction (aeromechanics), and the ability to assess engine system level impact. We are seeking motivated individuals with strong technical, problem solving, communication and leadership skills to join our team and be part of continuing Pratt & Whitney's industry leadership in current and next generation military propulsion systems.</p> <ul> <li>Lead a team leveraging aerodynamics/aeromechanics fundamentals and experience to influence the aero design of engine components, identify potential issues, and drive resolutions in coordination with interdisciplinary working teams. </li><li>Develop/improve high-fidelity models/codes and process along with strategic planning and execution to ensure analysis capability excellence </li><li>Contribute to product design and technology advancement by performing all aspects of high-fidelity modeling workflow, including analysis execution and interpretation / effective communication of results. </li><li>Typical tasks include conceptual design studies, product development, rig and engine testing, technology development, and root cause investigations. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.</p> <p>The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
