<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Bridgemark Healthcare is seeking a self-motivated, energetic Regional Director of Operations to oversee all aspects of several communities' operational, financial, clinical, quality, and compliance functions. You will directly supervise the Administrators of each community. The emphasis is on coaching, development, establishing standards of excellence, and promoting a culture of employee empowerment and customer service. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills and a track record of achievement in senior care, preferably but not necessarily in a corporate capacity. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations.</p> <p>This position will be home office based but will require travel to each community assigned to you. Candidates must live within the coverage area of their communities.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Lead, coach, and direct the Administrators of the regional communities. </li><li>Communicate corporate performance expectations to the regional communities; identify and provide leadership for performance improvement opportunities. </li><li>If needed, temporarily cover Administrator or Director of Nursing vacancies in the regional communities. </li><li>Provide hands-on support to the regional communities to promote quality, compliance, and customer service capabilities. </li><li>Be able to travel within Illinois and Missouri as required to support the regional communities. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Be fluent in the performance metrics and standards of skilled nursing and assisted living; be able to analyze performance information. </li><li>Be a strong communicator, able to convey and build consensus around performance expectations. </li><li>Exhibit traits of "positive leadership," reinforcing expectations of fairness and consistency; functioning as a supportive partner to the regional communities. </li><li>Possess exceptional organization skills, working independently, setting appropriate priorities, and staying on task. </li><li>Possess strong leadership, communication, management, and organizational skills </li><li>Have an exceptional commitment to customer service and employee well-being </li><li>Have a thorough understanding of financial, quality assurance, and management processes. </li><li>Be reasonably fluent in common computer applications, including Outlook, Excel, and clinical electronic health record applications. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Have valid Nursing Home Administrator licenses in Illinois and Missouri or be eligible and willing to obtain them. </li><li>Have five years' minimum healthcare management experience, with the highest preference going to applicants with a background in post-acute care, skilled nursing services, assisted living services, or a similar field. </li><li>Registered Nurse licenses in Illinois and Missouri - PREFERRED / NOT REQUIRED </li></ul> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>$125,000 - $150,000</p>
