<p>Job Title: Biopharmaceutical Processing Technician (Upstream)</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated Biopharmaceutical Processing Technician to join our team for shift rotations. The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the operations involved in the manufacturing of Commercial and Clinical Biologics. This position requires adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and involves a variety of functions related to Upstream cell culture processes.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Execute manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs with a focus on 'right the first time' practices. </li><li>Assist in maintaining suite, supplies, equipment, logbooks, and data in accordance with site SOPs and policies. </li><li>Document all activities to meet cGMP requirements, including daily record reviews and database management. </li><li>Participate and lead in shift exchanges and meetings to facilitate area needs. </li><li>Support quality investigations by providing answers and suggestions for improvements. </li><li>Promote and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines. </li><li>Critically evaluate processes, demonstrating foresight and proactive thinking. </li><li>Prioritize and interpret production schedules to complete tasks efficiently. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, or lab settings. </li><li>Knowledge of cGMP practices and aseptic techniques. </li><li>Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office. </li><li>Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>BS Degree in a STEM-related field is preferred. </li><li>Experience in a cGMP environment is preferred. </li><li>Subject Matter Expertise in upstream processing steps is a plus. </li><li>Ability to recognize and address developing problems. </li><li>Physical ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs independently and stand for 80% of the shift. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is based in a cleanroom environment with aseptic suites, requiring full gowning including bodysuit, gloves, hair & beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses. Makeup, jewelry, nail polish, cologne/perfume, scented lotions, or hair care products are prohibited. The position involves rotating 12-hour shifts, working 7 days over a 2-week period. Day shift hours are 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM. Night shift hours are from 6:45 PM to 6:45 AM. The work schedule follows a rotating 2-week pattern, providing ample time off for rest and recuperation.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $32.20 - $32.20/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
