<p>Staffmark is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading manufacturing team in Trussville, AL. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.</p> <p>Pay: $30-$35 per hour (based on experience)</p> <p>Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery </li><li>Respond to emergency repair needs as they arise </li><li>Handle general facility repairs, including building and grounds maintenance </li><li>Determine proper tools, parts, and procedures needed for tasks </li><li>Read and interpret wiring schematics and technical diagrams </li><li>Document all maintenance work accurately and in a timely manner </li><li>Work independently or as part of a team from verbal or written instructions </li><li>Report any safety concerns to the Safety Coordinator, Supervisor, or Department Manager </li><li>Adhere to all company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance </li><li>Knowledge of basic tool use and machine operating systems, including electrical, electronic, hydro-pneumatic, and mechanical systems </li><li>Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues </li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team </li><li>Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work </li><li>Comfortable working in tight or awkward positions, including under and on top of machines or while on ladders/platforms </li><li>Basic understanding of maintenance in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and masonry </li><li>Must be available for full-time work, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love This Job:</p> <p>We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
