<p>Director of Category Management Horsham, Pennsylvania | In-Office Position Overview The Director of Category Management is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing end-to-end product procurement and full channel ownership. This role drives margin optimization, vendor partnerships, contract negotiations, and strategic category sales enablement while aligning purchasing initiatives with company-wide financial and growth objectives.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Maintain a portfolio of brands that support the company's strategic direction, financial goals, competitive positioning, and operational efficiency.</p> <p>Drive business growth through proactive category management in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing partners.</p> <p>Establish department standards for creative, innovative solutions that strengthen vendor partnerships and position T14 as an industry leader.</p> <p>Serve as the subject matter expert on purchasing tools, systems, and methodologies; maximize system capabilities to achieve short- and long-term goals.</p> <p>Identify and drive system enhancements to improve inventory management, data quality, and operational efficiency.</p> <p>Execute recurring purchasing responsibilities with discipline, accountability, and attention to detail.</p> <p>Establish and maintain exceptional data integrity and parts compliance in partnership with cross-functional teams.</p> <p>Partner with company leadership to support and execute the unified business strategy.</p> <p>Represent and advocate for the Purchasing department at leadership-level and cross-functional meetings.</p> <p>Align with Finance leadership on budgeting, cash flow, and P&L initiatives.</p> <p>Lead, mentor, and professionally develop team members to support both career growth and business needs.</p> <p>Cultivate a team culture that drives accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.</p> <p>Manage departmental resources within established budgetary constraints.</p> <p>Qualifications & Requirements</p> <p>Deep industry knowledge of the automotive and powersports aftermarket, including market dynamics, trends, and key players.</p> <p>Proven strategic and analytical problem-solving skills with strong business acumen.</p> <p>Demonstrated success building, improving, and sustaining high-impact vendor partnerships.</p> <p>Experience with P&L responsibility in a managerial or leadership capacity.</p> <p>Strong organizational, time management, and accountability skills; ability to influence without authority.</p> <p>Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.</p> <p>Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.</p> <p>Solid understanding of supply chain practices and purchasing principles.</p> <p>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p> <p>Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.</p> <p>Minimum 5 years of experience in buying, category management, or similar leadership roles within a B2B environment.</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.</p> <p>Ability to travel as needed for industry events and external partner relationships.</p> <p>Commitment to representing the company ethically in all transactions and interactions.</p> <p>There at Every Turn: Our Benefits We believe in empowering our employees through career growth opportunities, ongoing learning, and a strong culture of support.
