Find your future with us.</p> <p>Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Experienced Structural & Payload Design Engineer for the Florida Design Center in Titusville, FL. The Florida Design Center is an engineering organization with a mission statement to provide engineering solutions via a highly skilled flexible workforce and cutting-edge technologies for the advancement of the Boeing Enterprise. The Design Center provides engineering support to Enterprise-wide projects/programs and is a flexible team that strategically adapts to emerging opportunities.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develops, integrates and documents requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Develops, maintains and modifies designs through use of 2D and 3D MBD Computer Aided Design with CATIA and ENOVIA to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle</p> </li><li> <p>Interact frequently with inter-organizational personnel and external customers in providing solutions to technical issues through technical design reviews</p> </li><li> <p>Performs and integrates analytical and test results to validate and verify systems meets requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Manages supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor junior level engineers in design practices</p> </li></ul> <p>This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.</p> <p>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years of work experience with design and development of structural and interior payload systems and component designs</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years of 3D Computer Aided Design experience</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of aerospace structure, materials strengths and properties, design criteria, loading conditions, and processes</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment to produce high quality engineering products</p> </li></ul> <p>Relocation:</p> <p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
