<p>General Summary</p> <p>Applicants do not have to qualify for work-study funds from Financial Aid.</p> <p>Starting rate for new hires is $16.00 per hour.</p> <p>Up to 20 hours per week across all student positions.</p> <p>SELECTION PROCESS</p> <p>Preliminary screening will be made on the basis of completed application package submitted by candidate. Completed application package includes</p> <ul> <li> <p>A submitted application</p> </li><li> <p>A copy of current class schedule.</p> </li><li> <p>Students may copy their class schedule from eWolf and paste into a Word document. Then save it to your desktop in order to upload to the application in the "Attachments" step.</p> </li><li> <p>You can also attach a cover letter and/or resume, but it is not required.</p> </li></ul> <p>All application materials become the property of Front Range Community College and cannot be copied. FRCC will conduct a criminal background check on selected candidate. FRCC does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, age, color, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or national origin in employment or in our educational programs and activities.</p> <p>Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assigned to serve as the front desk representative for the Student Life& Engagement Office</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the Food Pantry- helping with student intake, filling pre-orders and helping with loading/unloading/movingstock</p> </li><li> <p>Represent FRCC in a positive and professional manner</p> </li><li> <p>Greet and assist students/visitors in person, by phone and email</p> </li><li> <p>Answer and route telephone calls</p> </li><li> <p>Take and route telephone messages</p> </li><li> <p>Provide assistance with department's events</p> </li><li> <p>Manage inventory, maintain adequate supply of office handouts</p> </li><li> <p>General clerical work and operation of associated equipment to include but not be limited to filing, sorting, routing,scanning, faxing, copying, laminating, creating word processing documents, Excel spreadsheets</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare outgoing mail; receive, sort and distribute incoming mail</p> </li><li> <p>Complete daily task list which could include general and light cleaning of all Student Center spaces</p> </li><li> <p>Open and close the office based on assigned shift</p> </li><li> <p>Sale and production of student IDs/Wolf Cards</p> </li><li> <p>Cash handling and selling of Student Life & Engagement products - AMC Movie Tickets,</p> </li><li> <p>Bus Passes, Wolf Cards, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Put up/take down event signs</p> </li><li> <p>Help with room set ups and tear downs (tables, chairs, linens, decorations, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Lift 30 pounds as needed for event set up</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Competencies</p> <ul> <li> <p>Willingness to learn, take initiative at work, seek, and accept feedback, and be flexible.</p> </li><li> <p>The ability to work well as a member of a team as well as independently.</p> </li><li> <p>A commitment to creating an inclusive community and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.</p> </li><li> <p>A positive attitude and values building relationships.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be friendly and approachable.</p> </li><li> <p>Must possess leadership skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be reliable, honest, has integrity, and is adaptable.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of general office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Canva, and Outlook).</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Detailed-oriented</p> </li><li> <p>Must be committed to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.</p> </li><li> <p>Organized in thoughts and actions.</p> </li><li> <p>A motivated self-starter and team player.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be a FRCC student enrolled in at least 6 credits for the current semester </li><li>Applicants do not have to qualify for work-study funds from Financial Aid. </li></ul> <p>Notice to Prospective Employees:Front Range Community College is required by the Clery Act of 1990 to notify prospective employees, current employees, students and applicants where to access our Campus Security Report.
