<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain Office Efficiency: Analyzes and monitors internal processes; implements office systems, layout, and equipment procurement; maintains a safe and secure working environment. Responsible for distribution of mail, handling of incoming calls, customer service, ensuring office supplies are available, maintains office equipment as well as various other office duties. Responsible for updates of organizational memberships; maintains the condition of the office and arranges for necessary repairs. </li><li>Customer Service: Assist shipping/receiving walk-in customers on material needs, submittal packages, schedule deliveries and other sales responsibilities as required. </li><li>Coordinate Employee Activities: Work with plant leadership to coordinate employee appreciation events. </li><li>Organize Office Operations and Procedures: Assists with the design and implementation of office policies and procedures. Plan, consult and manage office moves within the departments. </li><li>Scheduling: Assists with arranging travel, meetings, and appointments for plant leadership as required. </li><li>Human Resources Liaison: In the absence of Human Resources Business Partner, performs HR liaison responsibilities, i.e. onboarding, paperwork completion/submittal, employee assistance with HCM software and file workman compensation claims with insurance provider as needed. </li><li>Compliance: Responsible for compliance with all applicable LB Foster standards and local regulations for assigned location. Assist with Environmental, Health and Safety compliance and scheduling of training, and manages company vehicle and driver compliance with third party. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Experience, Education & License Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or its equivalent </li><li>5 years' experience in an office environment, or equivalent experience and education </li></ul> <p>Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong goal setting, planning and prioritizing skills. </li><li>Considerable knowledge of administrative management, accounting, data entry and analysis. </li><li>Considerable knowledge of clerical and personnel policies and procedures with demonstrated ability to use those policies and procedures to resolve problems. </li><li>High level of proficiency in Microsoft applications (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, TEAM). </li><li>High level of proficiency working in a business management platform, SAP a plus. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to organize, direct, and perform duties in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to identify problems within a process and to develop feasible solutions. </li><li>Ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to develop and format written reports and presentations. </li><li>Self-starter.
