Within this role, under the direction of the manager and other HVAC Temperature Controls Technicians learn to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC systems throughout the facility.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works evenings, 2:30pm-11:00pm.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform maintenance on equipment and systems such as chiller systems, reheat systems, variable frequency drives (VFD), air handling units (AHU), humidifiers, dampers, heating and cooling coils, cooling towers and Pumps throughout the facility.</p> </li><li> <p>Document and maintain records of inspections and work performed pursuant to departmental polices and warranty/vendor requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain inventory and records for sensor and control devices related to digital and pneumatic systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Receive and respond to work orders from the computerized maintenance management system.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure safe and effective operations and working environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Work may occasionally be assigned across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.</p> </li><li> <p>Can work safely with hand and power tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic math skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Good verbal and written communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer skills.</p> </li><li> <p>One year of experience with mechanical repairs such as auto mechanics, motorcycle repair, or apartment/ hotel / building maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Military experience such as Utilities mate (UT), Machinists Mate (MM), HVAC/R (3E1X1), Utilities Equipment Repairer (91C), Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration (3E1X1) or similar will be considered.</p> </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
