For information regarding the USF Health, please visit our website at http://health.usf.edu/index.html</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking an APRN/PA to further increase our patient access and provide coordination and continuity of care for patients in the division of General/Gastrointestinal Surgery. Applicants are expected to: a) (i) have graduated from an institution approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), (ii) be currently certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), (iii) have a valid State Florida Medical License, and (iv) to have a minimum of 2 years of experience with in the care of surgical patients. OR b) (i) have graduated from an institution approved by the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification ( ABSNC), (ii) have a current certification for acute care nurse practitioners (ACNPs) in adult-gerontology (AG) patients, (iii) have valid State Florida Medical License, and (iv) to have a minimum of 2 years of experience with in the care of surgical patients.</p>
