This role collaborates closely with engineering, mold development, and production teams to ensure accurate measurement systems, reliable inspection results, and continuous process improvement.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain, calibrate, and verify metrology equipment, standards, and procedures to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance </li><li>Support procurement, installation, and qualification of new metrology equipment and software </li><li>Program and optimize measurement systems, including multi-sensor CMMs and advanced optical equipment </li><li>Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime </li><li>Assist in the design and development of new measurement techniques, fixtures, and inspection methods </li><li>Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain the FAI system </li><li>Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to production measurement operators </li><li>Train production supervisors on approved measurement programs and troubleshooting techniques </li><li>Support mold development and production teams with metrology expertise and analysis </li></ul> <p>Must Haves</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in Applied Science or equivalent technical experience </li><li>Hands-on experience with CMM programming and advanced metrology systems </li><li>Proficiency troubleshooting precision measurement equipment </li><li>Working knowledge of calibration systems, measurement standards, and inspection procedures </li><li>Technical understanding of optical connectors and related applications </li><li>Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and documentation accuracy </li><li>Effective communication skills and ability to support cross-functional teams </li></ul> <p>Nice to Haves</p> <ul> <li>Experience with confocal microscopy, CT scanning, SEM, AFM, or interferometry systems </li><li>Familiarity with contact gauging tools such as calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges </li><li>Experience developing custom fixtures or measurement methodologies </li><li>Background supporting high-precision manufacturing environments </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus potential </li><li>4 weeks of PTO for all new hires </li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance plans to support you and your family </li><li>401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match </li><li>A collaborative, team-based culture focused on innovation and quality </li><li>Paid holidays and employee recognition programs </li><li>Opportunities to work with cutting-edge metrology tools and technologies </li><li>STEM outreach and community engagement initiatives </li></ul> <p>US Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
