<p>Job Title Student Assistant - Summer 2025 Department Residence Life and Housing Office Job Description/Duties</p> <p>Performance of simple repetitive office tasks, little or no experience, minor responsibilities and must have the ability to work independently and ability to complete daily work tasks.</p> <p>Days/Hours Needed</p> <p>29 hrs a week during breaks and over summer</p> <p>Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the summer</p> <p>Campus Location/Bldg.</p> <p>Residence Life and Housing - Van Hoesen Hall</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Ability to work independently and to complete daily work tasks without daily direction from supervisor.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Efficient with spreadsheets and Microsoft Word as well as scanning and copying multiple papers.</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>Physically lifting and carrying bags of shredding for recycling, shredding multiple sheets of paper, breaking boxes down to recycle, as well as cleaning/wiping down office counters and tables.</p> <p>Special Conditions for Eligibility</p> <p>2 letters of reference from most current direct supervisors</p> <p>Contact Name(s) & Email(s)</p> <p>Wendy Sirvent</p> <p>Wendy.Sirvent@cortland.edu</p> <p>Salary Grade A-$15.50/hr.
