Work with the editors to identify and create visuals for print and web product.</p> <p>JFNTMP</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>In consultation with section editor, provide assignments of photos for newspaper. </li><li>Provide cutlines for all photos shot in a timely manner prior to publication. </li><li>Supervise work of photographers and their photo assignments. </li><li>Meet with editor as needed. </li><li>Maintain regular office hours of not less than 10 hours per week. </li><li>Supervise payroll procedures for photographers. </li><li>Delegates duties. Conduct regular meetings with section editors to discuss story ideas, assignments and the general direction of the newspaper. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Full-time student </li><li>Minimum 2.5 GPA </li><li>Access to a digital camera. </li><li>Must be available to start work Aug. 18, 2025 </li><li>Must be available for publication deadlines on Sundays and Wednesday nights. </li><li>Must be available Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for training. </li></ul> <p>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to shoot quality digital photographs in newspaper style </li><li>Some prior supervisory experience </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS:</p> <p>Complete the online application.
