Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Operations Associate is responsible for material handling, warehousing, quality checks and assisting Operations Technicians with the preparation and execution of startup, changeovers, operations, and line clearance. The key role of position is to ensure all material is supplied and taken to and from production areas.</p> <p>This position will have primary responsibility for executing the coordination of production materials, safety compliance, data collection, quality samples, maintaining 5S Visual Workplace, inventory (raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods), cycle counts and overall production support. The Operations Associate works within a structure that requires considerable interaction with others in the same production unit as well as other production units and support functions.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Understands and is accountable for full compliance of all Quality, EOHS and FP&R guidelines; as well as external regulatory requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Unload and inspects, samples and test inbound trailers according to SOPs</p> </li><li> <p>Transfer materials and supplies to storage, processing and finishing areas as needed using required equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Confirm in-house availability of raw and packing materials for current and next runs understanding schedule and demand plans</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with upstream and downstream processes by working with others in planning, warehouse, receiving and vendor representatives to ensure availability of materials</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares and loads finished product for shipping using SAP and working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers</p> </li><li> <p>Complete all appropriate SAP, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Forklift Terminals/RF transactions for receiving, transferring and shipping of materials and finished product</p> </li><li> <p>Performs cycle counts and inventories</p> </li><li> <p>Completes daily check sheet for forklift safety and maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Changes out forklift batteries daily for recharging using overhead crane</p> </li><li> <p>Performs safety check of pallet stacking at end of shift and reports and resolves any issues</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with startup, line clearance, and operations of automated and manual equipment throughout the production facility</p> </li><li> <p>Complete daily housekeeping activities and perform assessments as required to meet all GMP's and FDA requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Removes and disposes of production line waste according to Standard Operating Procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with loading scrap trailers for disposal or recycle</p> </li><li> <p>Other job functions that may be assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing / warehousing environment</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient with computers, software, and data processing</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work any shift, weekends and mandatory overtime as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly for extended periods of time</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend to 90 degrees repeatedly</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated competency of Attention to Detail, Work Standards, Initiative and Managing Work</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Demonstrated ability and experience operating forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles</p> </li><li> <p>GMP and/or consumer goods manufacturing experience a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated competency in problem solving/decision making, effective communication, results oriented, and job fit</p> </li><li> <p>WMS/SAP experience</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment to Inclusion</p> <p>Our journey begins with our people-developing strong talent with diverse backgrounds and perspectives to best serve our consumers around the world and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.
