<p>APPLICATION DEADLINE</p> <p>This position is considered open until filled. Applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled and considered closed.</p> <p>The College seeks to hire the best qualified candidate for each position. To support this philosophy and objective, the Human Resource Department provides a process to allow for a comprehensive search of candidates, inclusive of internal and external applicants.</p> <p>Duties</p> <ol> <li> <p>Organizes, manages inventory, and delivers supplies to classrooms across campus.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with setting up and tearing down classrooms, including ensuring the space complies with health and safety regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors students during lunch and organizes and leads activities during recess.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides assistance in the classroom as needed and supervises campers during instructors' regularly scheduled breaks.</p> </li><li> <p>Escorts campers around campus for bathroom breaks, brain breaks, visits to the camp nurse, and other situations during which campers are outside of their classrooms.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures medications are delivered to the correct camper's classroom every morning and returned to a secure location every afternoon.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in general cleaning and sanitization of classrooms and shared equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides basic office assistance, such as photocopying, word processing, running errands, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.</p> </li></ol> <p>Special skills needed</p> <ul> <li>Must be available to work during the weeks of camp: June 15 - August 7, 2026. </li><li>First Aid and CPR certification preferred. </li><li>Ability to lift 30lbs and quickly and efficiently deliver materials around campus with a wagon or hand cart. </li><li>Proven success as a flexible, positive team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task, project-oriented environment. </li><li>Ability to take initiative with project and support assignments. </li><li>Exceptional organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain excellent professional and effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, and customers. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Ability to listen actively and demonstrate understanding of written instructions. </li><li>Ability to shift quickly between several tasks without loss of continuity. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills and the ability and desire to assist instructors and supervisors to achieve success. </li><li>Driver's license required. </li><li>Background check required. </li></ul> <p>Additional information</p> <p>18+ years of age and high school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with youth in grades 1-12 strongly preferred.</p> <p>MUST BE A CURRENT HCC STUDENT FOR THE SPRING 2026 SEMESTER.</p> <p>MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS FOR THE SUMMER 2026 AND/OR FALL 2026 SEMESTER(S).</p> <p>UNLESS FIRST-SEMESTER STUDENT, MUST HAVE ATTAINED A 2.0 SEMESTER GPA DURING THE LAST SEMESTER ATTENDED.</p> <p>MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK DURING THE WEEKS OF CAMP: JUNE 15 - AUGUST 7, 2026.</p>
