<p>? Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operate and monitor all plant systems including conveyors, dryers, screens, and mixing drums </li><li>Control the blending and mixing of raw materials to produce asphalt to specified standards </li><li>Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant equipment </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime </li><li>Maintain accurate production and maintenance records </li><li>Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company safety policies </li><li>Coordinate with truck drivers and dispatch to ensure timely loading and delivery </li><li>Assist with plant setup, shutdown, and cleaning procedures </li><li>Operate heavy equipment such as loaders or skid steers as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required, technical training or certifications a plus </li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in asphalt plant operations or related field </li><li>Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with industrial equipment </li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and production specifications </li><li>Basic computer skills for data entry and control systems </li><li>Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of asphalt mix designs and quality control procedures </li><li>Experience with computerized plant control systems </li><li>Familiarity with MSHA, OSHA, and environmental compliance standards </li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills </li></ul>
