The successful candidate's research should complement existing faculty strengths and align with the department's strategic priorities. Biomedical applications may be considered as a secondary or minor research direction. The candidate is expected to establish a vigorous, internationally recognized, externally funded research program as part of the South Carolina SmartState Center in Polymer Nanocomposites.
