<p>'); document.write('Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>INDIAN CAPITAL TECHNOLOGY CENTER</p> <p>DISTRICT NO. 4</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <p>POSITION:</p> <p>Curriculum/Instructional Coach</p> <p>RESPONSIBLE TO:</p> <p>District Administrator for Instructional and Student Services</p> <p>10, 11, or 12-month</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree Minimum/Master's preferred</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum three (3) years of experience in Instructional/Curriculum in a public school, higher education, and/or career tech. </li><li>Curriculum development experience preferred </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATION:</p> <p>Valid Oklahoma Department of Education Teaching Certificate or valid ODCTE Standard Teaching Certificate</p> <p>PERSONNEL CLASSIFICATION:</p> <p>Certified Instructional Support - (Level 2/Level 3 salary schedule); 40 hours per week; Exempt</p> <p>PRIMARY FUNCTION:</p> <ul> <li>Under the direction of the District Administrator for Instructional & Student Services Coordinate with Campus Directors to provide instructional coaching and teaching methods for all staff </li><li>Provide support and expertise in the delivery of the district new instructor induction program and the various ODCTE teacher induction programs </li><li>Assist in the adaptation of curriculum materials to provide alignment, rigor, and relevance for all instructional efforts </li><li>Assist in the application of Literacy, Numeracy, and the imbedding of academic's in curriculum </li><li>To promote, advertise, and solicit students to participate in the Cooperative Alliance program. </li><li>Guide and assist students, instructors, and staff members with the enrollment procedures and official completion steps to be part of the Cooperative Alliance </li><li>Work with Carl Perkins and other Federal programs as needed. </li><li>Collaborate with all divisions and directors, making presentations as needed. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to administer and interpret a variety of assessment instruments. </li><li>Ability to utilize computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>History of displaying excellent interpersonal skills. </li><li>Demonstrate administrative and organizational competencies, team building skills, and positive communicative skills. </li><li>Have the ability to develop and manage budgets. </li></ul> <p>DEPENDABILITY:</p> <ul> <li>Regular attendance following designated work schedule </li><li>Ability to work different shifts as the position requires </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL/MENTAL STANDARDS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read, comprehend, and evaluate varied documents </li><li>Ability to deliver presentations and instructions in logical, sequential order </li><li>Ability to operate vehicles for travel in order to travel state-wide </li><li>Requires stooping, bending, and carrying of such articles as books, manuals, files, and job relate items (up to 35 lbs.) </li><li>Multi-tasking skills will be required </li></ul> <p>EMOTIONAL EFFORT:</p> <ul> <li>Moderate to extreme </li><li>Frequent deadlines requiring concentrated effort and overtime work </li><li>Must be self-starter </li><li>Must have ability to prioritize time, assignments, and project while handling a high volume of customer service and needs </li><li>Able to handle high stress situations at peak periods </li></ul> <p>OTHER:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent human relations and communications skills including telephone skills </li><li>Ability to perform responsibilities on own initiative with minimal supervision including planning, executing, and completing assignments in a timely manner while managing multiple priorities </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of dealing with the public </li><li>Mature, responsible, discreet, problem-solver, maintains confidentiality </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <p>MAJOR DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Under the supervision of the District Administrator for Instructional & Student Services. </li><li>Collaborate with Campus Director's to work one on one with instructional staff to utilize instructional best practices and apply the model schools Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships (Quad D framework). </li><li>Assist with the delivery of the ICTC new teacher induction program and assist Campus Director's in utilization the ODCTE induction programs. </li><li>Collaborate with instructors to develop instructional materials, curriculum alignment and support materials - making presentations as needed. </li><li>Assist with the organization and management of the district plan for assisting students with testing and any academic initiative that leads to high school academic credit </li><li>When called upon assist with the identification and implementation of career major certification, licensure, or credential test for students </li><li>Assist with Carl Perkins Grant Administration and Reporting </li><li>Assist with College Alliance Program. </li><li>Career Major submission to ODCTE, communicating changes with school staff as needed. </li><li>Assist student services with the transcription and awarding of academic credit. </li><li>Work as a consultant and support agent for each campus Academic Center and all academic classes offered for credit. </li></ul> <p>PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:</p> <ul> <li>Building a good, harmonious rapport and work cooperatively with all district personnel while carrying out the duties, responsibilities and objectives of the job </li><li>Assist and communicate with all vendors, ODCTE, and other state agencies in a friendly and sociable manner </li></ul> <p>OTHER:</p> <ul> <li>Perform such other duties and assume such other responsibilities as directed by their supervisor or the superintendent. </li><li>Maintain competence through participation in professional organizations and activities </li><li>Participate in annual evaluations </li><li>Supervisor may flex time to most effectively utilize 10 or 11 month position(s) </li></ul> <p>"Indian Capital Technology Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex/gender, age, disability, marital or veteran status."</p>
