Position Requirements: One year of experience working the KCAD's Printmaking Studio. Must be familiar with intaglio, relief, screen printing, and monotype processes.</p> <p>Good communication skills: must be able to answer student questions and explain printmaking methods clearly.</p> <p>The ability to work with a diverse group of printmaking students and faculty in a courteous and professional manner.</p> <p>Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.</p> <p>Must be currently enrolled full or part-time student at Ferris State University's Kendall College of Art and Design. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Inform students of proper use of equipment and studio etiquette.</p> <p>Monitor use of the printing presses</p> <p>Adjust pressure on presses if necessary. This is to be done by studio monitor.</p> <p>Clean up at end of studio hours; organize and degrease worktables with required supplies and return all tools to proper storage areas at end of studio hours.</p> <p>Working with printmaking faculty members the student work must inventory supplies, paper, etching solution, and inks to be ordered.</p> <p>Sweep floor and help to maintain a tidy printmaking facility.
